Julia Cornachio has over 30 years of criminal law experience. After graduating Fordham University College and then Fordham University Law School, she began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx where she represented the citizens of Bronx County prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanors and felonies including DWIs, weapon possessions, robberies, burglaries, assaults, gang violence and homicides. In 1997 she took her skills to Westchester County where she continued for 23 more years successfully investigating, researching, and prosecuting primarily homicides and other violent offenses.

She has conducted hundreds of grand jury presentations and over 75 felony trials to verdict. She has supervised and mentored young and veteran lawyers and police. Working in the system for so many years has given Julia the unique advantage and perspective that she now brings as a criminal defense attorney.
